2. Data Collected

2.1 Contact Form

When you use the contact form, the following data is collected: name, email address, message text. This data is used exclusively to process your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

2.2 Report Problem Form

When using the form to report compatibility errors, the selected components, a description, and optionally a screenshot upload are recorded. No personal data is collected unless you voluntarily include it in the description.

2.3 Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. This includes: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources.

2.4 Internal Analytics

We use our own cookie-free analytics system. A pseudonymous hash value (SHA-256) is generated from your IP address, your browser's user agent, and a daily rotating key. Your IP address is not stored and cannot be reconstructed from the hash. The hash rotates daily, making recognition across days impossible. Additionally, if Cloudflare is in use, the country is derived from the CF-IPCountry HTTP header; your IP address does not leave our system. We also store the page path visited, the referrer domain, the device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), and the language. No cookies are set and no tracking across multiple days is performed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymous analysis of website usage).

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The processing of personal data is carried out exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Responding to contact inquiries
  • Processing reported compatibility errors
  • Providing and improving the website
  • Anonymous analytics (without cookies, without storing IP addresses)
  • Anonymous click counting on affiliate links (without storing personal data)

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and operating the website) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent when the user initiates contact).

5. Storage Duration

Contact messages and problem reports are stored until the purpose of storage no longer applies (processing completed) and no legal retention obligations apply. Server log files are deleted after no more than 30 days.

6. Affiliate Links and Tracking

This website contains affiliate links to manufacturers such as Fanatec and Thrustmaster. When you click on an affiliate link, an anonymous click counter is incremented without storing personal data. The respective manufacturer may set its own cookies upon redirection, the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

10. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes access data (server log files) on our behalf as a data processor. 11. Withdrawal of Consent
